As we continue to grow, we are looking an Event Rigger Technician to join our technical team.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on rigging experience, technical knowledge of truss and hoist systems, stage systems and décor equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Rigging Preparation & Setup
Install, maintain, and dismantle rigging equipment including truss, chain motors, stage platforms.
Secure motors, shackles, and hardware to building or venue load points.
Follow rigging plots, drawings, and production layouts to build accurate and safe systems.
Perform load calculations and ensure all equipment is used within safe working limits.
Safety & Compliance
Conduct pre-event and post-event inspections of all rigging equipment.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, venue regulations, and company safety procedures.
Correctly use harnesses, and other protective equipment.
Identify hazards, report unsafe conditions, and assist in maintaining a safe working environment.
Technical Collaboration
Coordinate with lighting, audio, video teams during event builds.
Provide technical support during rehearsals, event operations and show calls if needed.
Assist in troubleshooting rigging or motor issues on-site.
Event Support
Maintain accurate logs of rigging points, load calculations, and equipment inspections.
Assist with equipment inventory, maintenance, and prep in warehouse environments.
Provide clear communication with supervisors and crew members to ensure efficient workflow.
Client & Venue Interaction
Be professional and courteous when representing the company.
Communicate clearly with clients, venue staff, and production managers to ensure expectations are met.
Adapt to last-minute changes, common in conferences and corporate productions.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Rigger or Event Technician in corporate events, conferences, or exhibition environments.
Confident working at height and familiar with fall protection practices.
Strong understanding of stage, truss systems, chain motors, hoistsand exhibition rigging hardware.
Physically fit and able to work long hours in demanding environments.
Ability to interpret technical layouts, drawings, rigging plots and load charts.
Knowledge of venue rigging policies common in hotels, convention centre, and exhibition halls.
Driving license B

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Flexibility with working hours nights, weekends, and extended shifts may be required.
Other attributes considered as preferential
Rigging certificate.
Knowledge of cabling and electrical distribution.
