Events Video Technician

As we continue to grow, We are seeking a experienced Video Technician to support video operations for corporate events, conferences, meetings, and presentations. The successful candidate will ensure clear, reliable, and high-quality sound for speakers, panels, and multimedia presentations.
Key Responsibilities
Transport & Logistics: Safely pack, label, and move video equipment to and from venues, following handling and safety procedures.
Equipment Planning & Prep: Select, inspect, and test the required video equipment for each event, ensuring full compatibility and readiness.
Setup, Installation & Dismantling: Install video systems on-site, run cables, and test all connections for proper signal and positioning. All equipment would need to be dismantled and returned to base.
Live Operation: Operate video equipment during events, troubleshoot issues quickly, and coordinate with other technical teams.
Communication: Report issues and communicate clearly, openly and in a timely manner with managers and crew before, during, and after events.

Work Experience & Requirements
Good level of communication in English, both spoken and written.
Hands-on experience setting up and operating video systems for events, such as switchers, LED walls, projectors, and video distribution equipment.
Familiarity with troubleshooting and signal routing in live event environments.
Driving license B
Physically able to lift, transport, and set up heavy video equipment.
Other Desirable knowledge:
Experience with media servers.
Basic IT knowledge (networking, IP video, etc.).
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and working with presenter content
Additional Requirements and Working Conditions
In-person full-time position based in Malta.
Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physically able to lift and set up AV equipment and valid driver’s license B and ability to travel between sites.
Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards in AV considered an asset.
Able to work in the EU and Malta.
Remuneration between Eur 24,000 – Eur 30,000 Gross based on experience. Overtime required is paid additionally.
